Wow, that was my weakest shot.
- Black★Matagi after shooting down a single unmanned Metal Gear RAY with a single shot.[1]

Black★Matagi is a Template:Biography human (Native) Template:Biography newcomer (The Three Kingdoms) from Template:Series Black★Rock Shooter and is a member of the Template:Biography Black Squad (The Three Kingdoms), thus is officially recognised as an Template:Biography Agent of Order (The Three Kingdoms) of Template:Biography Gensokyo (The Three Kingdoms).

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Matagi is a pale-skinned, purple-eyed girl, with short black hair. She is relatively short among the Black Squad. Her eyes have a concentric circle pattern.

Her upper clothes are similar in nature to a sailor uniform with a white collar, long sleeves, a short pleated skirt and a predominant black colour scheme. She appears to wear a blouse with thin shoulder straps under her outfit. Matagi also wears a pair of knee-high high-heel boots. Her accessories are a pair of headphones and a white armband with a black pentagram design. She wears an eyepatch over her right eye.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Matagi is a quiet girl with an analytical nature but is not beyond resorting to force.

Policies[edit | edit source]

Matagi upholds the Template:Biography Unwritten Law (The Three Kingdoms) but has been rather quiet about Template:Biography The Yamaha Kingdom (The Three Kingdoms)'s methods of punishment, including throwing people out of high windows by Template:Biography android (Native)s, which caused serious damage to the people involved.

History[edit | edit source]

Doomsday[edit | edit source]

Matagi was reunited with Black★Rock Shooter and joined the Template:Biography Black Squad (The Three Kingdoms) as an Template:Biography Agent of Order (The Three Kingdoms) of Template:Biography The Yamaha Kingdom (The Three Kingdoms).

Template:Biography The First Year (The Three Kingdoms), Post-Doomsday[edit | edit source]

Template:Biography Doomsday's First Anniversary (The Three Kingdoms)[edit | edit source]

Matagi, along with fellow Black Squad member Black★Gold Saw, accompanied Black who's responsibility at the time was to chase down the HMS Thunder Child[2], that had recently broken though Template:Biography The Hakurei Barrier (The Three Kingdoms)[3], and secretly prevent Gensokyo from seizing its technology. Black was granted command of the Akagi and a Template:Biography Strike Witch (Strike Witches)es unit. However, Gensokyo insisted on accompanying Black's group with a more powerful force, captained by Template:Biography Remilia Scarlet (Touhou) who was given control of Template:Biography Metal Gear Arsenal (Metal Gear), its fleet of unmanned Metal Gear RAYs and was joined by her younger sister, Template:Biography Flandre Scarlet (Touhou), and Template:Biography Kawashiro Nitori (Touhou) with the original Template:Biography Metal Gear RAY (Metal Gear). Upon catching up with the Thunder Child, which was again being remotely controlled by Template:Biography Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid), it became apparent that Remilia was unwilling to lose possession of the Thunder Child, using the far larger Arsenal to skewer the smaller ship and prevent the Thunder Child from heading north, back towards Yamaha territory. After ordering Matagi to fire a warning shot at an Unmanned Metal Gear RAY that was ignored by the Gensokyo escort, Black realised the only way to regain the Thunder Child was to fight Remilia's group. Using the power of a remote Template:Biography Iron Curtain (Command and Conquer: Red Alert) to make the Akagi temporarily invulnerable, Black had the Akagi ram into the Thunder Child, freeing the warship. However, Nitori prevented the Thunder Child's escape. Remilia confronted the crew of the Template:Biography Akagi (Strike Witches), Matagi holding her off for Black to answer a call from Template:Biography Kagamine Rin (Vocaloid) who ordered Black, before she could reclaim the Thunder Child, to retreat back to Yamaha waters in preparation for the reactivation of Template:Biography The Sonic Barrier (The Three Kingdoms) to be done right after Template:Biography The Meltdown Directive (The Three Kingdoms). Matagi lost the fight with Remilia, a battle Black had to take over.[4] On returning back to Yamaha waters, Black was given new orders by Template:Biography Kasane Teto (UTAU) to redirect the Akagi towards Template:Biography Florida (Native) revealing that The Meltdown Directive was created to allow Yamaha to take over Template:Biography The United States of America (Native).[5]

Original Events, Pre-DeLorean[edit | edit source]

Matagi was one of many stationed in the United States to establish order in Yamaha's new territory but was not prepared for the strong resistance by the American branch of Template:Biography The Anti-Humour Society (The Three Kingdoms), a massive group of people devoted to the collapse of Template:Biography The Three Kingdoms (The Three Kingdoms), normally kept in check by the powerful Gensokyo administration. Matagi and the rest of The Black Squad were rounded up and imprisoned but not before destroying their Black Squad access cards, preventing The Anti-Humour Society's access to many high security buildings, especially Template:Biography The Arctic Prison (The Three Kingdoms).[6]

The DeLorean's Changes[edit | edit source]

Template:Biography The Second Year (The Three Kingdoms)[edit | edit source]

Template:Biography Yggdrasil (Digital Monster X-Evolution), a sentient crystal ball, was briefly released from statis in Template:Biography The Arctic Prison (The Three Kingdoms) to allow Haruhi to examine him for danger. As an Template:Biography Invisible (The Three Kingdoms), he was deemed a harmless object but was placed back in statis just in case. However, in the time he was free, he digitalised the surrounding area, making the statis ineffective. The digitisation spread throughout the universe, including Black.

Template:Biography Doomsday's Second Anniversary (The Three Kingdoms)[edit | edit source]

Yggdrasil's digitalisation reached the edge of the universe, inadvertently granting Template:Biography The AI Director (Left 4 Dead) digital access, who infected the world with Template:Biography Green Flu (Left 4 Dead). This affected all non-immune humans including Matagi, placing them under the control of The Director, recognisable by yellow eyes.[7]

Template:Biography The Digital Three (The Three Kingdoms), including Template:Biography Skynet (Terminator) who had also been freed by the digitalisation, agreed to stage a fake war to coax Template:Biography Rokiahi (XenoAisam) to feel true fear, the last missing emotion of The Hand Canon, to allow them to return to their original worlds. Under the guise of a difference in ideals between Haruhi, Miku and Reimu, Template:Biography The Three Kingdoms (The Three Kingdoms) were refounded. Matagi joined Gensokyo, said to want a unified world with a single country.[8] As part of the plan, Gensokyo declared war on Yamaha and North High.
