Black★Gold Saw is a human Template:Biography newcomer (The Three Kingdoms) from The Black★Rock Shooter Anime and is a member of Template:Biography The Black Squad (The Three Kingdoms), thus is officially recognised as an Agent of Order of Template:Biography Gensokyo (The Three Kingdoms), considered one of the more powerful of the group.
Gold is a pale-skinned, red-eyed girl, with long flowing black hair. She is noticeably tall aiding by the presence of red tipped devil horns on her head. A red flame shoots out from her right eye that can be controlled. Her eyes have a concentric circle pattern.
Her clothes consist of a buckled bikini top under a black jacket. The jacket has a white jaguar emblem with three whites stars above it on her right side of the torso. She also wears a pair of tight-fitting shorts, mounted claws, and black mid-calf-high boots.
Gold is a quiet girl but is very confident in her skills as a fighter and can come over as anti-social, especially after being annoyed at having to obey orders from Black★Rock Shooter as part of Template:Biography The Black Squad (The Three Kingdoms), who is considered to be physically weaker than Gold. During Doomsday, Gold came to realise her strength and power was far surpassed by many others in this new world, especially the members of the Template:Biography Gensokyo (The Three Kingdoms) administration and her self-esteem dropped substantially. She came to realise that as the leader of the Black Squad, Black suffered from the strain of responsibility, scrutiny and hate, none of which Gold wanted, leading Gold to appreciate Black for what she was worth.
- As someone who dominated in her own world, Gold is not used to and does not react well to her own failures. She believes that all failures can be avoided, a belief that does not go well with her lax nature.
- Gold follows Template:Biography The Unwritten Law (The Three Kingdoms), happy that it essentially protects her from more powerful Template:Biography newcomer (The Three Kingdoms)s.
Shooter Powers
- Gold can activate her powers by igniting a red flame from her right eye.
- Gold can summon chains from solid surfaces to latch onto a target.
- When fighting another being that possesses Shooter powers, including Template:Biography White Rock Shooter (Black★Rock Shooter THE GAME), the ground turns into a brittle ceramic material and gains a clean black and white checkerboard pattern.
- Gold is capable of sending Template:Biography King Saw (The Black★Rock Shooter Anime) into Hammerspace, if she is in contact with it.
Template:Biography Plasmid (Bioshock) Powers
- After Yamaha's exploration of the underwater city of Template:Biography Rapture (Bioshock), Gold made use of the stores of Template:Biography plasmid (Bioshock)s there to give herself various superhuman powers including freezing and causing rage. However, these have had negative effects on Gold's health, physically and mentally. It is not known if Template:Biography Suzumiya Haruhi (Suzumiya Haruhi) or Template:Biography Sasaki (Suzumiya Haruhi) have removed these bad side-effects yet.
- An Template:Biography Enrage Plasmid (Bioshock) causes the target to attack anyone in the near vicinity.
- A Template:Biography Winter Blast Plasmid (Bioshock) temporarily freezes the target, allowing them to be shattered.
Arms
- Gold is capable of using small firearms to an extent but prefers physical attacks.
Melee
- Gold is a very strong melee fighter, stronger than both Black and White, at least in their normal forms.
Swordplay
- Gold is very skilled in heavy swordplay. She owns a long heavy and two-handed sword, called Template:Biography King Saw (The Black★Rock Shooter Anime), which she has no difficulty wielding.
- Template:Biography King Saw (The Black★Rock Shooter Anime) is a long heavy and two-handed sword that Gold has no difficulty wielding.

Gold was onboard the aircraft carrier Template:Biography Akagi (Strike Witches) along with Black★Rock Shooter[2] and Black★Matagi[3], following the HMS Thunder Child that broke though Template:Biography The Hakurei Barrier (The Three Kingdoms) crossing Template:Biography The Atlantic Ocean (Native) that caused a fight to break out between the ship and a small but powerful group of Gensokyo's forces.[4] After the Thunder Child fled the scene and The Hakurei Barrier had been reformed, Black was ordered to approach the area, with Template:Biography The Sonic Barrier (The Three Kingdoms) in the vicinity deactivated, again on the Akagi[5] to communicate with the Gensokyo task force and convince them the Thunder Child had been commandeered and would require both Gensokyo and Yamaha to intercept. Template:Biography Hakurei Reimu (Touhou) agreed to a temporary alliance and the Barriers between the two kingdoms were deactivated.[6]
From that point, Gold's responsibility under Black was to chase down the Thunder Child and secretly prevent Gensokyo from seizing its technology. Black was granted command of the Akagi, a Template:Biography Strike Witch (Strike Witches)es unit and was accompanied by Gold and fellow Black Squad member Black★Matagi once more. However, Gensokyo insisted on accompanying Black's group with a more powerful force, captained by Template:Biography Remilia Scarlet (Touhou) who was given control of Template:Biography Metal Gear Arsenal (Metal Gear), its fleet of unmanned Metal Gear RAYs and was joined by her younger sister, Template:Biography Flandre Scarlet (Touhou), and Template:Biography Kawashiro Nitori (Touhou) with the original Template:Biography Metal Gear RAY (Metal Gear). Upon catching up with the Thunder Child, which was again being remotely controlled by Template:Biography Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid), it became apparent that Remilia was unwilling to lose possession of the Thunder Child, using the far larger Arsenal to skewer the smaller ship and prevent the Thunder Child from heading north, back towards Yamaha territory. Black realised the only way to regain the Thunder Child was to fight Remilia's group. Using the power of a remote Template:Biography Iron Curtain (Command and Conquer: Red Alert) to make the Akagi temporarily invulnerable, Black had the Akagi ram into the Thunder Child, freeing the warship. However, Nitori prevented the Thunder Child's escape. On seeing Flandre board the Thunder Child, Gold also boarded to prevent any potential progress and the two fought, destroying the port side of the ship. Before Black could reclaim the Thunder Child, Template:Biography Kagamine Rin (Vocaloid) ordered her group to retreat back to Yamaha waters in preparation for the reactivation of The Sonic Barrier to be done right after Template:Biography The Meltdown Directive (The Three Kingdoms).[7] Uninformed about The Meltdown Directive, Black did as she was told ordering Gold's return to the Akagi. Gold froze Flandre and caused her to rage, allowing Gold to be airlifted away by Template:Biography Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke (Strike Witches) without retaliation. On returning back to Yamaha waters, Black was given new orders by Template:Biography Kasane Teto (UTAU) to redirect the Akagi towards Template:Biography Florida (Native) revealing that The Meltdown Directive was created to allow Yamaha to take over Template:Biography The United States of America (Native).[8]
Gold was one of many stationed in the United States to establish order in Yamaha's new territory but was not prepared for the strong resistance by the American branch of Template:Biography The Anti-Humour Society (The Three Kingdoms), a massive group of people devoted to the collapse of The Three Kingdoms, normally kept in check by the powerful Gensokyo administration. Gold and the rest of The Black Squad were rounded up and imprisoned but not before destroying their Black Squad access cards, preventing The Anti-Humour Society's access to many high security buildings, especially Template:Biography The Arctic Prison (The Three Kingdoms).[9]
Gold confessed that Black was the better leader of the Black Squad, convincing Black to remain as the leader.[10]
Template:Biography Yggdrasil (Digital Monster X-Evolution), a sentient crystal ball, was briefly released from statis in Template:Biography The Arctic Prison (The Three Kingdoms) to allow Haruhi to examine him for danger. As an Template:Biography Invisible (The Three Kingdoms), he was deemed a harmless object but was placed back in statis just in case. However, in the time he was free, he digitalised the surrounding area, making the statis ineffective. The digitisation spread throughout the universe, including Gold.
Yggdrasil's digitalisation reached the edge of the universe, inadvertently granting Template:Biography The AI Director (Left 4 Dead) digital access, who infected the world with Template:Biography Green Flu (Left 4 Dead). This affected all non-immune humans including Gold, placing them under the control of The Director, recognisable by yellow eyes.[11]
Template:Biography The Digital Three (The Three Kingdoms), including Template:Biography Skynet (Terminator) who had also been freed by the digitalisation, agreed to stage a fake war to coax Template:Biography Rokiahi (XenoAisam) to feel true fear, the last missing emotion of The Hand Canon, to allow them to return to their original worlds. Under the guise of a difference in ideals between Haruhi, Miku and Reimu, Template:Biography The Three Kingdoms (The Three Kingdoms) were refounded. Gold joined Gensokyo, said to want a unified world with a single country.[12] As part of the plan, Gensokyo declared war on Yamaha and North High.
