Description[edit source]
This template is used to produce coloured boxes for quotes with big speech marks. These might not display probably in tables that have a class as it will override the settings for the quote box.
Usage[edit source]
{{quote|QUOTE|SPEAKERCANON|SPEAKER|CITATION|DESCRIPTION}}
- QUOTE: The quote.
- SPEAKERCANON: Canon of the speaker of the quote. This just governs the colour of the box and text pulled from the speaker's biography page. If left blank, the text colour is default black and the box is made transparent with no border. This can be left blank to not have a box.
- SPEAKER: The speaker of the quote. As with the canon, it is used to pull the colour of the box and text.
- CITATION: This is the source of the quote comes from. The citation needs to be wrapped in <ref></ref> tags. This is not a mandatory variable but should be included.
- DESCRIPTION: This is the description of the quote, including who, why and when it was said.
